Hi everyone!

We’re drawing closer and closer to school starting back up, which means soon it will also be time to resume our weekly youth group ministry! Here’s some of what we’re planning for this year:

FYI: The full youth & family ministry calendar is all available online @ stpaulutica.com/church/youth/

Sr. High Youth Group // Wednesdays, 6:30-9:00pm STARTING AUG. 23rd

All 9th-12 graders are invited to our weekly gatherings with food, hang-out time, time in God’s Word, and topical discussions. This year we’ll be doing 5 different service projects throughout the year and 3 different special events.

Jr. High Youth Groups // Sunday Evenings STARTING AUG. 27th

All of our 5th-8th graders will have youth group activities, with the schedules as follows-

7th & 8th Grade- Every Sunday, 6:30-8:00pm (1st Sundays are different time, see next item for info)

5th & 6th Grade- Every 2nd & 4th Sunday, 5:30-6:30pm (This is a change from last year’s schedule. See next item for info)

Family “Come-Unity” Nights // Every 1st Sunday, 6-7:30pm

Something we’re going to be trying this year is monthly family ministry nights! These nights will have time for play, fellowship, and a guided devotion to help families spend a time in God’s Word together. A full schedule of activities and plans to follow soon. (These events will serve as our 7th & 8th grade youth group)

Loft Project

One of the big items on our agenda for this year is transforming the loft in the St. Paul School gym into a youth room. We’ll be using some of our youth group time in the fall to get the students involved in the cleaning and re-modeling of the space to help make it their own. Look for more details and a wish-list coming soon!

That’s all for now! I’ll continue to keep you updated on youth events weekly through both these blog posts/email updates and via the Remind app (If you want to receive the Remind updates, visit remind.com/join/stpaulym )

Thank you all for the opportunity to serve your students and your families as we celebrate the Savior who freely saves sinners!
