  • Grades 5-6 Grand Pals at 1:30 P.M.

  • Grades 3-4 on field trip to Aurora and Grand Island. The classroom

    will be back at school between 3:45 – 4:00 P.M.

  • Roller skating party in York (552 W. 8th St.) frpm 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.


  • Students in grades K-8 will sing for St. John, Waco’s 140

    anniversary worship. Please meet at 8:40 A.M. in the fellowship

    hall for warm-up before worship.


  • Report cards go home.


St. Paul’s Fall Bazaar will be held on Sunday, November 16th, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

We will be serving soups and cinnamon rolls, along with hosting a bake sale.

If interested in a craft or home-based business booth space, contact

Carrie Gumaer (534-2127).  Each family will be asked to bring TWO

baked sale items for the bazaar.  Look for a work schedule

in an upcoming newsletter.  Thanks for helping with this event

to support our kids’ school!


Our rollers skating party will be next Friday from

6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at 552 W. 8th Street in York.

The Parents Association will pay for 50% of the

entrance fee for all students. There will be a

costume contest for all appropriate costumes

(nothing gruesome – costume can be just below

your knees and you CANNOT HAVE props!

Example: no swords, lasers, wands etc.) . Please

join us for an evening of exercise, fun, and fellowship.


Congratulations to the volleyball team in their

efforts at the conclusion of their season. At

the Emmanuel/Faith, York triangular of October

6th, they split their games; a win over St. Joseph, York (25-11, 25-12)

and a loss to the home team (22-25, 16-25). The season

ended at the St. Joseph, York triangular with a pair of victories; one against

St. Joseph, York (25-11, 25-21) and the other against Emmanuel/Faith, York

(25-8, 25-17). Congratulations, ladies, on a great season! Thanks to all parents,

friends, and fans for your support throughout the season. Many great memories were made!



Our Prayer Ministry for the week are Seth and Monica Haakenson

and their family, Natalia, Anna, and Micaela; and Jeremy and Carrie

Gumaer and their family, Jayde and Andrea. Please keep these

families and the rest of our staff especially

in your prayers this week.

Congratulations to David and Terasa Nichelson

on the birth of a daughter on October 10th.
