TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16:

– Grades 3-4 field trip to Edgerton Center in Aurora. They

will be back for the bus.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17:

– Last Day of First Quarter.

– Fall Family Festival at 6:00 P.M.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18:

– NO SCHOOL. Teacher’s Convention in Omaha.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19:

– NO SCHOOL. Teacher’s Convention in Omaha.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 22:

– NO SCHOOL. Fall Break.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23:

– 1st day of 2nd quarter.

The staff has the Fall Family Festival organized for this Wednesday: hot dogs, chips, and s-mores as well as Mr. Luce and grades 5-6’s maze. We

will serve hot dogs at 6:00 P.M. with devotions at 6:45 P.M. Trunk or Treat begins at 7:00 P.M. Please plan to pass out between 100-120 nut free treats. We also ask that costumes are not gruesome in nature. Thank you!

Congratulations to the volleyball team in their recent events. The “A” team won the Emmanuel/Faith, York triangular on October 2nd and 2nd place in the St. Joseph, York Tournament on October 9th.They also earned the runner-up title at the Nebraska State Lutheran Invitational Tournament at Lincoln Lutheran this past Saturday with victories over Lincoln Lutheran “B”; Emmanuel/Faith, York; and Zion, Pierce, with their one loss being to eventual champion Trinity, Fremont “A”. The “B” team split their games at the St. Paul Triangular on October 4th, and played very well at the tournament at Lincoln Lutheran this past Saturday, a victory over Trinity, Grand Island “B” and narrow 3 set losses to Zion, Kearney “B” and Trinity, Fremont “B”. Great work ladies on all your hard work and commitment! Only four weeks until basketball season starts (November 12th)!
