Thank you for the support given to our teachers as we attended LEA last week. It was a wonderful time of educational and spiritual renewal.

Our Prayer Ministry families for this week are

Carrie and Jeremy Gumaer and their children, Andrea and Jayde; and Preston and Kara Hawley and their children, Tripp, Emalee and Taylor. Please keep these families and our school staff in your prayers this week.

Please remember Alice Fritz, Carter and Paxton’s grandmother, in your prayers as she recovers from her accident and surgery. May the Lord give her strength during this time of recovery.

We also pray for missionaries; Steve and Martha Mahlburg in Sri Lanka, and Larry and Tina Matro in Papua New Guinea.

We have had two people step up for 5th and 6th grade band on Mondays and Thursdays. But, it would be great to have a substitute. If you could sub, the schedule is to take the 5th grade to band at 10:00 A.M.; then the 6th grade is taken to band at 10:50 A.M. and the 5th grade picked up after dropping off the 6th grade; finally, the 6th grade is picked up from Centennial and brought back to St. Paul at 11:30 A.M. If you can help with this transportation please call Mr. Luce or Mr. Brauer. Thank you for your help.

Fall Family Festival will be this Thursday, October 17, starting at 6:00. We ask that students not wear gruesome costumes, and please bring enough candy for about 120 students. The teachers will supply the hotdogs and s-mores for the evening. Mr. Luce and grades 5 and 6 will have the maze open at 6:00 P.M. and food will be served at 6:00. Pastor will have devotions at 6:45 and the “Trunk-or-Treat” will begin about 7:00 P.M. Please join us for an evening of fun, food and fellowship!

Parents, if you can assist in the clean up after the Fall Family Festival, the teachers would appreciate the help.
