Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team and

their efforts during their Roundball weekend in

Madison with two wins against one loss. They earned 3rd place. Saturday started with a win vs. Zion, Pierce (25-8), followed by a loss to Emmanuel/Faith, York (33-12). Following the second-round of games and the forecast of treacherous weather overnight and into Sunday, several teams went home early, including St. Paul’s third-round opponent. Due to the forfeit, St. Paul was awarded third place, but played against Zion, Pierce again in a “friendly” since their third-round opponent also went home early. St. Paul won this game by a score of 21-16. Good work, ladies! Thanks to all our fans that made the trip, cheered us on, and made it a memorable weekend.

Congratulations, also, to the members of our free

throw team that earned 1st place at the Roundball

Tournament. The team members were Gracen

                       Fehlhafer, Abby Meyer, Maddie Brandenburgh,

Samara Ruether, and Kate Luebbe. Good job, ladies!
