Congratulations to our boys’ basketball team
at winning first place at the St. Joseph
basketball tournament last week.
————————-
Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team in their
efforts of the past week. After losing the first
game of the St. Joseph, York tournament to Christ,
Juniata, (30-18), they earned a third place finish
by defeating the St. Joseph, York team (27-9).
At the St. Paul Invitational tournament, the girls participated in both the “B” division
and the “A” division. The girls won first place in the “B” division with victories over Emmanuel/Faith, York “B” (20-11) and St. John, Seward “C” (31-13).
The girls also won first place in the “A” division with victories over St. Joseph, York (34-16) and Emmanuel/Faith, York (26-16). Thanks to everyone who came to cheer for the girls. Thanks, also, to everyone that helped with the tournament and the cleaning afterward. It all helps to make for a successful tournament.
