                                Parents with High School Youth:

We are needing extra help for Fun Day! If your

student needs community hours, please contact

the school office – possibly set up on Saturday

and during activities and clean up on Sunday. We are also having a Silent Auction. If you have a basket of goodies, sports tickets, etc. to donate, please let Miss Sherry know. Thank you!

Our Medieval Times Fun Day is coming together!

Please invite your friends and family to come to

Fun Day and enjoy the food, fun, and fellowship. Silent auction items include autographed balls by UNL coaches: Scott Frost, football; Tim Miles, basketball, Amy Williams, basketball, and Daron Erstad, basketball. Also included is a new 26 inch bicycle, tickets to UNL games, and many items and gift cards from local businesses. We need a crowd for a good bidding!

All parents please remember to bring a cake and

2 liter bottle of pop for the cake walk on Sunday.

St. Paul Preschool is now taking enrollment for the

2018-2019 school year. There will be a PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE this SATURDAY, MARCH 3rd from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. for interested families to visit out classroom. Children should be 3 years old by July 31, 2018 to attend preschool next year. We are excited to offer another year of social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual learning experiences for preschoolers in and around our community. Please share this information with friends and family who may be interested in our preschool program. They would also be welcome to schedule a visit at another time. An enrollment form and $30 non-refundable deposit (which will cover snack fees) must be returned to hold a child’s spot for next year.

Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team and their Class C Championship at the C-Club Tournament at Concordia University, Seward this past weekend. The girls started with a victory over Our Redeemer, North Plate (30-12) on Friday evening. Although they were scheduled to play Christ/St. John, Columbus on Saturday, Columbus chose to forfeit the game rather than travel in poor road conditions allowing the St. Paul girls to move into the championship game. The girls faced the Lincoln Lutheran “C” team in the finals with the result being a thrilling 26-25 overtime victory for St. Pauls. Great work ladies, and a wonderful way to cap the season! Thanks to parents, siblings, and fans that came to support the team. Thanks, also, to Coach Rushman for all of her help with the girls’ basketball program during her student teaching tenure.

Congratulations boys’ basketball teams. Our B team played two well fought and played games, and our A team placed third at the Concordia Class C Tournament. Great work and wonderful sportsmanship boys! Thank you Josh Rausch and Dave Stahr for helping out with boys’ basketball this year. Your help was very valuable.

VALENTINE ADVENTURE: We are missing 1 glass

9 x 13 inch cake pan; and we have an extra

9 x 13 clear glass pan and a metal measuring

cup looking for a home.

Our Prayer Ministry for this week are our student teachers,

Carly Rushman and Taylor Brockhaus. They will have their

final day with us on Thursday, March 1. We thank them

for their excellent ministry with us these past 8 weeks.

Please keep these families and our staff in your prayers this week.
