– Ash Wednesday Chapel at 8:35 A.M. with Pastor Dunbar. Our monthly mission for February is Nebraska District Hearts for Jesus project: Lutheran Special Education Ministries.
THURSDAY, February 27:
– D.A.R.E. classes for grades 5 & 6 from 8:30 – 9:15 A.M.
FRIDAY, February 28:
– Late start at 10:25 A.M. Teacher meeting at 8:30 A.M.
SATURDAY, February 29:
– Preschool Open House from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
SUNDAY March 1:
– Grades K – 8 will sing for worship. Students, please meet in the kindergarten room at 8:40 A.M. for warm-up before the service
Preschool: St. Paul Preschool is now taking enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year. There will be a Preschool Open House on Saturday, February 29th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. for interested families to visit our classroom. The Preschool is located on the east end of the school building, behind the church. Children should be 3 years old by July 31st to attend preschool next year. Our classes are 3 half-days per week. For more information, please call the school at 402-534-2121 or our preschool teacher, Pam Johansen, at 402-534-5138. Please share this information with friends and family who may be interested in our preschool program. An enrollment form and $35 non-refundable deposit (which will cover snack fees) must be returned to hold your child’s spot for next year.
We have special dress-up days for National Lutheran Schools’ celebration next week:
Monday – Dr. Seuss’ Birthday – Dress up as your favorite book character
Tuesday – Throw Back Tuesday – Dress up as someone from the past.
Wednesday – Best Clothes Day – Dress in nice clothes for chapel.
Thursday – Spirit Day! – Go Saints!
Friday – Hats/Shades Day – Wear your hats and sunglasses.
Our Prayer Ministry families for this week are
Kyle and Lindsay Wasser and their children Keegan, Kylee, Trinity, Makinley and Kacia; and Jeff and Heather Wellman and their children Jackson and Drew . Please keep these families and our school staff in your prayers this week.

Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team and their Class B Consolation Championship at this weekend’s C-Club Tournament at Concordia University in Seward. Play started Saturday morning with a narrow 24 – 28 loss to eventual Class B Champion, Zion, Pierce. After a Saturday bye, the girls faced and defeated Zion, Kearney 41 – 16 in the Consolation Championship.

Thank you to all parents, family, friends, and fans that made the 2020 C-Club Tournament a wonderful experience.
Congratulations to the boys’ basketball team for taking 2nd place in Class B at the Concordia C-Club Tournament. The boys played well and all had a wonderful experience!
Fun Day, Sunday March 1st: If you have a gift basket or donation for the Fun Day Silent Auction, please drop it off at the school office and/or let Mr. Brauer know what you are donating. Mr. Brauer will then make a bid sheet for the items. Thank You

Kindergarten Round-up: We will have Kindergarten Round-up on Wednesday, March 4. If you know of anyone who is interested in sending their children to St. Paul, please visit with Mrs. Luebbe or Mr. Brauer and we will get invitations sent. Thank you.
Science Fair: Grades 5 and 6 will hold their Science Fair on March 6th from 1:00 – 2:45 P.M.
Valentine Adventure: There are still a few cake pans from the Valentine Adventure. Please pick up your cake pan in the 1st and 2nd grade classroom. Thanks
