Please mark your calendars for Thursday,

August 31st for School Picture Day. Karyn

Backhus will again be our photographer with

a start time of 8:30 A.M. More information

will be coming soon.

We are interested in increasing participation in

our Breakfast Program. It is in danger of not

paying for itself because of the lower

participation rate. Please consider having your children eat the healthy breakfasts Barb prepares each morning. Thank you for your consideration.

There is a women’s Bible study on the book of

Luke every Wednesday morning from 8:35 to

10:30/11:00. We meet for chatting any time

between 8:35 to 9:00. Bible study is from 9:15

to 10:15. Open discussion follows. Any woman

interested is invited to join us!

Our annual Rada and Kleinhann fundraising

event has begun! Kits came home with one

child from each family today. Please ask your

child(ren) for your family’s kit. Every order helps our school, so please consider placing an order for yourself and asking a few neighbors, friends, and family. Some things this fundraiser helps pay for include: classroom supplies, art supplies, library books, field trips, play scripts, sports uniforms, referees, among other things. Sales will go until September 6 at which time all money and orders are due. If you would like extra kits for your customers, or need extra order forms. Sherry has them in the teacher workroom. If you have any questions, you can call Jami Utter at 534-2218. Thank you for supporting our school fundraiser.

Mark your calendars for next week’s Parents’

Association Carry-In Dinner – Wednesday,

August 30 at 6:30 P.M. Please provide a main dish and a peanut/nut free dessert any/or salad to share. Table service and drinks will be provided. We will open the classrooms for short visits at about 7:15 P.M. Any committees wishing to meet can do so at about 7:30 P.M. We hope you can share some food and fellowship with us next Wednesday.

We are still in need of band drivers for 5th and

6th grade on Tuesdays and Thursdays! The 5th

grade goes to band at about 9:55 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. and the 6th grade from 10:40 to 11:15 A.M. Hopefully one driver can serve both classes since they are now back-to-back once again. Please visit with Mr. Brauer or Mr. Luce if you are able to help with this driving.

Thank you Jamie Utter, Dayna Hoops, and

Theresa Rathjen for driving the 7th and 8th

grader for band; and Dayne Hoops, Pastor

Dunbar, and Lana Hoffschneider who drive the 5th and 6th grade on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Our Prayer Ministry for this week are Rick and Karyn

Backhus and their family, Timmy, Daniel, James, and Abigail;

and Alan and Christel Barth and their family, Harlee and Rylee.

Please keep these families and our staff in your prayers

this week.
