Grades 5 and 6 Field Trip to the SASM Museum.
They will leave at 8:30 A.M. and return at 4:15 P.M.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29:
-
Spring Plays with grades 1-2 with “Too Much Noise”,
and grades 7-8 with “Saved by the Serendipity
Circus”. The plays begin at 7:00 P.M. with grades
1 and 2.
SATURDAY, MAY 2:
-
Confirmation Questioning at 7:00 P.M.
SUNDAY, MAY 3:
-
Confirmation.
Parents of students of grades 1-2 and 7-8,
please bring a dozen or two nut-free snacks
to share with our guests following the plays
on Wednesday. The Parents’ Association
will provide drinks for the evening.

Our Annual Athletic Dinner will be held on
Wednesday, May 6th, beginning at 6:30 P.M.
While this is a time to recognize our athletes of
the past year, everyone is invited to attend. We
start with a carry-in dinner, after which our guest
speaker, Devin Smith from Concordia University,
will offer us uplifting and encouraging words. The
evening will close with recognition of our athletes and
awards. Plan to attend!
The 5th and 6th grade classroom is beginning collection before
their servant event at People’s City Mission on May 14th.
Items that the Mission has stated are of particular interest
for their summer program are these possible items:
-snack for summer programs, packaged cookies,
cracker, candy, suckers, popcorn, granola bars,
fruit snacks, etc.
– sidewalk chalk, bubbles, sunblock, sunglasses, etc.
– medical supplies; bandages, creams, cough syrup, cough
drops, aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.
– office supplies: pens, pencils paper, markers, paper
clips, staples, sticky notes, etc.
– twin sheets
– towels
These are just a few of possible items. Donated materials can be brought to the 5th and 6th grade room. Thank you in advance.

Congratulations to those students who participated in
Concordia’s Gathering of Talents. You put your talents on
the line for all to see and that takes courage. Participants
in Art were: Abigail Meyer, blue; Luke Hoffschneider, yellow;
Andrea Gumaer, yellow; Hannah Luebbe, yellow; Riley Zieger,
yellow; Cora Hoffscneider, pink; Kayla Grantski, pink;
Savannah Vestal, blue; Gracen Fehlhafer, blue; Jaycee Stuhr,
pink; Kaitlyn Fehlhafer, blue, and Shawn Rathjen received
and illusive purple ribbon for art. Muscial participants
were: Abigail Meyer for guitar, blue; Scarlett Vestal
for piano, pink and for flute, pink; and the duet of
Cole and Ian Stahr also received that illusive purple ribbon.

PRAYER MINISTRY
Our Prayer Ministry for the week are our
8th grade confirmands: Cody Bender, Cole Gocke,
Nathan Hanneman, Jackson Hirschfeld,
Peyton Johansen, and
Shelby Ziegler. Please keep these families
and the rest of our staff especially in your prayers this week.
